“The Exchange at The Spot” is a multi-vendor concept team-up from some Orlando superlatives: Kick Bright Vintage & Buttons, Joybird Books, The Vintage Chair and Framework Craft Coffee Bar. This concept will run from the beginning of January through the end of February 2022.
If you’ve ever been to any event or market in the Milk District in the past few years you will recognize some of these familiar faces.
Kick Bright Shop and Buttons specializes in vintage clothing for men, women and children as well as a curated inventory of pop-culture related items like toys, records, music equipment and artwork. Not to be outweighed is their button manufacturing with many original designs and local flavor. Owners Kristin and Jeffrey Howard bring their unique style and outlook that vintage should be affordable, worn and loved.
Joybird Books is a used-bookseller, focused on bringing together local artists and authors to share their work and celebrate the spirit of art, literacy, and community in a collaborative space. Owners Andy and Ollie will be operating this satellite location in conjunction with their own brand new brick and mortar store that opened in the Audubon Park neighborhood.
The Vintage Chair is a unique concept that incorporates the many vintage, mid century, Bohemian décor followers of Curiously Vintage on Instagram are familiar with PLUS the addition of chairs – LOTS of chairs! Owners Susan and Kerry Kelly believe their chairs have personality. Therefore, they’ve given them each a name. At The Vintage Chair, you will meet a few and have an opportunity to try them out before purchasing, all while browsing their catalog of unique vintage finds. These include furniture, barware, kitchenware, home décor, linens, electronics and their favorite, quirky items that spark curiosity!
Framework Craft Coffee Bar started by Danny Forester as a mobile coffee bar; aimed at supporting local industries, helping the masses, building a community, and providing delicious drinks in a unique and reasonably priced way. Locally sourced and sustainable. For this spot Framework will be supplying special pre-packaged on-the-go coffees.
